About Kristin Ebanks
I am driven by a belief that there is genius in everyone (I got this from my mother). This is why I love helping people discover more of who they are so they can reach their full potential. And I have a heart focused on doing good. It begins and ends with a simple story: all people are loved beyond measure, and there is always hope in tomorrow! I work with executives at World Vision International, one of the largest Christian humanitarian organizations in the world, to grow their authority and influence with key audiences internally and externally. I support the President and CEO as well as C-suite leaders across Global Marketing & Communications and Global Field Operations. A colleague once described me as “the Brené Brown of leader communications.” I’m happy with that! By working through leaders, I believe I can make the world a more peaceful place and ultimately impact more children\'s lives because of the authority and power leaders have to impact staff, policies, the media and more. I have 20 years of experience working for international non-profit organizations and deep communications expertise in strategy, change management, leadership, personal branding, visual communications, and staff engagement. I am also experienced in thought leadership, storytelling, design, publications, social media, and public engagement. An American comedian, Milton Berle, once said, “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.” I aim to build doors for leaders to walk through with bold visions—and then purposeful plans to see them come to life. I am grateful to be featured on the cover of the October ‘24 edition of CXO Outlook and on the Rising Star Women Leaders in Non-Profit of 2024 list by Women We Admire. Outside of my passion for leader communications, I am a vegan who loves exploring the outdoors (I\'m happiest hiking and playing in rivers). My three boys keep me running after them at all times, and I have more books than I have time to read. I also love daily walks and being a life-long learner. To God be the glory for every opportunity I have had to serve others.
