About Kristine Whiton
I am a Kindergarten Teacher with a Masters of Arts in Teaching from UC Irvine. I am a proud alum from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a BS in Liberal Studies; Mathematics concentration. I am extremely passionate about youth education, and am excited to empower students as change makers and community builders. I am committed to creating inclusive, welcoming learning environments. My teaching experiences include student teaching in kindergarten and 4th grade, tutoring elementary to college aged students, teaching science at CU Boulder through CU Science Discovery, and being an elementary school aide. In my spare time I am usually crocheting, at a coffee shop, or exploring a beachside bluff!Curriculums/Programs I have taught: Illustrative Mathematics, Wonders ELA, Heggerty phonological awareness routines, Bridge to Reading, Hasbrouk Diagnostic Tests, CGI strategies.
