ABOUT KRISTINA KERKELOVA
I am a fourth-year Bioengineering student at McGill University with hands-on experience in 3D printing, CAD, and rapid prototyping, and a strong interest in medical technology and biomaterials. My academic and research work has focused on translating engineering design into practical solutions that improve patient outcomes. I am currently on exchange at École Polytechnique, expanding my technical and international experience while actively seeking engineering opportunities in the EU for Summer 2026. Beyond the classroom, I am deeply involved in engineering community at McGill. In Fall 2025, I led the organization of the Canadian Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Conference in Quebec. My interests lie at the intersection of engineering design, medical devices, and biomaterials. I am motivated to work on projects with a real-world impact. I am an avid hiker, skier (cross-country and downhill!), runner, and enjoy being in places where I can meet new people, experience new cultures, and challenge myself both personally and professionally.
