ABOUT KRISTINA HALVORSON
Kristina Halvorson is the founder and president of Brain Traffic, a content strategy consultancy, and the creator of the world-renowned Button and Confab conferences. She\'s the author of the seminal book Content Strategy for the Web, which is widely credited with helping to define and popularize the field. Kristina also hosts The Content Strategy Podcast and has appeared as a featured speaker at nearly 150 conferences all over the world. In her consulting work, Kristina works closely with organizational leadership to help identify systemic content issues and create roadmaps for sustainable change. She helps gain alignment on content not only as core to design but also as an asset that must be treated as critical business infrastructure. In her work as a professional community leader and advocate for the field, Kristina is tireless about encouraging practitioners to connect through writing, speaking, podcasts, meetups, communities of practice, online forums, Slack workspaces, and wherever else we can share work and support. When we lift each other up, we elevate the field at large. Kristina lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, where summers are spectacular and winters are surprisingly tolerable.
