About Kristina Drumheller

With over 25 years of experience in higher education, teaching, and curriculum design, I am a passionate and dedicated Associate Dean of Communication, Art, Theatre & Dance at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU). I oversee the academic and administrative functions of the programs, including faculty development, student success, budget management, and strategic planning. I also hold a Hootsuite Platform Certification, demonstrating my proficiency in using social media tools and platforms for effective communication and engagement.As a Professor of Communication and a Researcher, I have developed and taught courses on crisis communication, leadership, and emotional processes in the workplace. I have also published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences. My research interests and expertise lie in how organizations and individuals cope with and respond to crises, such as the departure of a key figure, a scandal, or a disaster. I have also helped various clients with communication challenges and strategies. Additionally, I have served as a faculty liaison for online education, supporting and enhancing the quality and accessibility of online courses at WTAMU.
