The Creekside School is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) nonpublic school founded in 2006 and located in San Jose, California that serves students with profound autism. A \"typical\" student has significant communication challenges and sensory issues who is working towards a high school certificate of completion. We are devoted to discovering our students’ untapped potential, which is often overlooked in clinical settings due to communicative, behavior and/or sensory motor-based issues. We serve students in grades K-12 (ages 5-22).As the Director of Development, I am responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan to generate philanthropic support. As a member of our Executive Team, I report to our Executive Director and provide our Board of Directors with fundraising updates.
