Leads, manages, and supports (directly or indirectly) a talented team of Nelson Poynter Memorial Library (NPML) faculty, staff, professional staff, and temporary employees to enhance and prioritize library user experiences, by incorporating best practices and technological advances.• Engages in strategic planning, program development, assessment, and accreditation processes for the NPML.• Provides academic leadership and mentoring for professional development of library faculty and staff, including faculty research activity required for promotion.• Leads outreach to both campus and the broader community for NPML services, programs, and campus engagement.• Interprets USF relevant policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to NPML faculty and staff.• Works collaboratively with deans, directors, and faculty of the three USF campuses, as needed.• Accelerates institutional commitment toward inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.• Engages in research, publication, and service to the University and profession.• Engages in fundraising activities for library holdings and services.• Provides overall fiscal responsibility for planning and executing of the NPML budget, including education and general funds, library materials allocation, auxiliary enterprises, and endowment funds.• Strategizes, advocates, and facilitates NPML\'s distinctive identity within the USF Libraries and USF St. Petersburg campus domains• Actively support efforts for the USF Libraries to become eligible for membership into the Association of Research Libraries (ARL).
