Provide legal counsel and advocacy on a broad array of legal and regulatory issues relating to the Company’s products and services, rates, market conduct, and business strategy. Responsible for key regulatory accountabilities, including providing leadership in the administration and coordination of market conduct examinations and regulatory inquiries, investigations and reports for Unum US’s insurance subsidiaries plus various closed blocks of business that the company administers for other insurers. Lead Regulatory Exams team responsible for all financial & market conduct examinations, regulatory reporting, MCAS, New York Profile and all regulatory inquiries for all U.S. insurance subsidiaries.
