About Kristin Tarbell
I am a biotech leader with deep experience in both immuno-oncology and inflammation/ autoimmunity and type 1 diabetes. I am passionate about fostering drug discovery innovation and implementing novel technologies. I’m strongly committed to building and mentoring scientifically strong, diverse teams. In my current role at Amgen, I set strategy and lead a research team focused on novel immuno-oncology approaches. I have managed programs from early discovery to early clinical development. We utilize muti-omic data including spatial transcriptomics to accelerate target identification and validation. We have also been working closely with the precision medicine and biomarker teams to use these technologies for reverse translation.
