ABOUT KRISTIN LARSON
Kristin Larson is Vice President, Studio & Production Affairs, at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), overseeing local and regional corporate strategies, production activity and studio operations within SPE’s government and external affairs division. Kristin supports Sony Pictures’ motion picture and television groups’ physical production issues involving government, serves as the primary business liaison between the studio and the City of Culver City, and guides SPE’s development entitlements for the studio lot property. Kristin currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for FilmLA - the film office for the City and County of Los Angeles; is Chair of FilmLA’s Operations Committee; and is a member of its Community Relations, Board Development, and Research Advisory Committees. She serves on the Advisory Board for AFCI, the Association of Film Commissioners International, and also serves on the Board of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce. She Chair of the Chamber Board in 2020, and is a founding member of the its Women in Business Council, which in a full circle moment, honored her with the Trailblazer Award in 2021. In Culver City, she participates in the city’s Economic Recovery Task Force and its Creative Economy Task Force. Kristin has twice been Co-Chair of the Hollywood Chamber’s Entertainment Conference Committee, and she served as an inaugural mentor for the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) LA-chapter program, GROW, supporting women’s professional development. She has spoken on regional panels related to the intersection of the entertainment industry, real estate and economic development. Kristin is a graduate of Vassar College with a B.A. in Film.
