ABOUT KRISTIN HILTON
I have been in the field of education since 1993. My first two years after graduating from Luther College were spend teaching middle school English in Remsen, IA. In 1995 I was able to secure a teaching position in Norwalk, IA where I taught 8th grade English for two years. I also did some athletic coaching. During this time I attended grad school at Drake University and eventually accepted a counseling position at Norwalk High School where I remained until 2001.In 2001 I accepted a job at Central Academy, Des Moines Public Schools and have been here ever since! I work with students on college admissions, mental health counseling and academic advising.
