I\'ve spent years honing my skills in customer service, where I\'ve developed a natural talent for solving problems face-to-face. I\'m confident in my written and verbal communication and have become proficient with various industry-relevant software.Currently, I work as a licensed optician at Costco Wholesale. I\'m proud to hold both an ABOC (American Board of Opticianry Certification) and NCLEC (National Contact Lens Examination Certification). As the final point of contact when someone receives their eye prescription, I use my technical expertise to recommend the best eye care solutions for our members. My day could involve anything from leading sales presentations to analyzing prescriptions or even fixing a pair of broken glasses.Outside of work, I’ve always been passionate about art and design. I love the creative process and the idea of building something that can positively impact people’s lives. Recently, I felt a pull toward a new direction and decided to go back to school to pursue a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. My goal is to combine my passion for design with the potential of software development, especially in exciting areas like drones and AI. It’s an incredible time to be part of this industry, and I’m eager to see where this journey takes me!
