ABOUT KRISTIN DECAPUA
As a member of the Eastern States region staff team at the American Heart Association, I proudly serve our mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives. I manage the Office of the Executive Vice President (OEVP) by leading a team of professionals that provide executive level regional operations support and project management to our Executive Vice President, Associate Executive Vice President, Senior Management Team and Eastern States Region Board of Directors. The most rewarding part of my work is partnering with volunteers, survivors and staff who are focused on making an impact on the health of those that live in our communities. We are saving lives! I\'m honored to have served on our EVP\'s task force for Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Action, where my subcommittee was focused on diverse supplier spending. I also served as the Secretary for our #WithMe Employee Resource Group, focused on bringing staff together for fellowship with a focus on mental health and well-being during this time of working remotely.
