ABOUT KRISTIN BLAKE
I travel, write and travel write. I graduated magna cum laude with two degrees: a B.J. in magazine editing and B.A. in French along with two minors: Digital Global Studies and Multicultural certificates. And in September 2020, I moved to southern France where I worked as an English teaching assistant for two years. My passion for cultural exchanges and the French language led my career path into the world of student exchange programs. During my time at PIE/L\'Amérique au Pair, I develop and expand the au pair program for French participants heading to the United States. One way I share this exhilaration is through Round Trip, my travel and lifestyle blog that I started in 2014. In partnership with my blog, I published Round Trip: The Magazine, a print publication with my best travel tips, stories and insider scoop of life in southern France. Through my blog, I\'ve launched an online travel budgeting class, which had more than students enroll in the first two months. I\'ve published two paperback books: 40 Ways to Travel Better and Travel Thoughts Journal available for purchase on my blog. My love of France and French culture led me to publish the France Field Guide, a 32-page guide to discovering the land of baguette, cheese and wine. I currently live and work in southern France, where I work in student exchanges, social media and copywriting.
