About Kristie Kim
Kristie Kim Design was established in Los Angeles on July 18, 2015. It is certified by Community Business Enterprise for Women and Minority Business Enterprise programs by Los Angeles County. I graduated honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies with a minor in Art and Design from North Carolina State University where I was a full-ride Pack Promise Scholar, and I also received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design where I received over in stipends and grants. I also received a certification from Harvard Business School Online\'s CORe program in November 2020. I have Graduate certificates in Business Communications and Strategic Management from Harvard along with a Master of Liberal Arts in Management diploma. My first public art exhibit was at the U.S. Capitol Cannon Pedestrian Tunnel from May 2010 to May 2011 after my tempera painting,\"The Chase,\" won first place in the 2010 Congressional Art Show. Since 2018, I have worked at The Oscars event in Hollywood, The Emmy’s, Los Angeles Fashion Week, and The Hollywood Christmas Parade.I serve as a Board Member of Asian Pacific Americans at NBC Universal while working full-time at Universal Studios Hollywood.
