About Kristie Hendrix

With over 25 years of experience in law enforcement, crime scene investigation, and telecommunication, I retired as the Executive Director of Emergency Management, Clery Compliance, and Police Communications at Forsyth Technical Community College. There, I assisted with the safety and security of the campus community, coordinated the emergency response and preparedness plans, and ensured compliance with the Clery Act and other federal and state regulations.I am passionate about empowering and developing others through education and training. I hold certifications as a law enforcement officer, telecommunicator, CAD, general, and telecommunicator instructor. I have also taught and coordinated various courses and programs at Forsyth Tech, using online learning management systems such as eCollege, WebCT, Canvas, Moodle, and Blackboard. I am proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. My goal is to use my knowledge, skills, and experience to benefit students and employers in the field of emergency management and eLearning.
