ABOUT KRISTIE ORTIZ
Currently at Brooklyn A, I am the Director of our Preserving Affordable Housing Program where we primarily do eviction defense as well as affirmative cases for tenant associations. Prior to joining Brooklyn A, Kristie Ortiz worked as a solo practitioner in several areas, including matrimonial, housing, criminal, and immigration law, as well as wills and estates. She holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. from West Virginia University. Kristie is admitted to practice in New York and Florida. She is fluent in Spanish.
