I lead strategy and member engagement for North America’s largest meat and poultry companies in their commitment to the Protein PACT, the industry’s framework for continuous improvement and transparency in animal welfare, sustainability, worker safety, and community well-being. I specialize in transforming sustainability pledges into measurable action—scaling participation, aligning standards, and building trust across the value chain.Key Contributions- Started and expanding engagement in the Sustainability Committee- Scaled industry participation in Meat Institute reporting, a data set that provides industry benchmarks for continuous improvement on critical areas of business- Facilitate cross-sector partnerships between meat companies, producer groups, retailers, and NGOs to drive adoption of practical, scalable sustainability strategies- Support member companies in navigating ESG expectations, integrating climate efficiency practices, and preparing for voluntary and regulatory reporting- Represent the Meat Institute on the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (USRSB), the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Poultry & Egg (USRSPE), and through collaborations with the Pork Board, Dairy FARM, and Veal Quality Assurance programs- Translate technical topics (methane reduction, GHG accounting, supply chain traceability, animal care) into clear, accessible frameworks for diverse audiences across the livestock value chain- Develop tools and resources that help meat processors make continuous improvements- Champion industry-wide alignment on sustainability metrics, data integrity, and implementation pathways.
