I specialize in transforming sustainability pledges into measurable action—scaling participation, aligning standards, and building trust across the value chain.Key Contributions- Started and expanding engagement in the Sustainability Committee- Scaled industry participation in Meat Institute reporting, a data set that provides industry benchmarks for continuous improvement on critical areas of business- Facilitate cross-sector partnerships between meat companies, producer groups, retailers, and NGOs to drive adoption of practical, scalable sustainability strategies- Support member companies in navigating ESG expectations, integrating climate efficiency practices, and preparing for voluntary and regulatory reporting- Represent the Meat Institute on the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (USRSB), the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Poultry & Egg (USRSPE), and through collaborations with the Pork Board, Dairy FARM, and Veal Quality Assurance programs- Translate technical topics (methane reduction, GHG accounting, supply chain traceability, animal care) into clear, accessible frameworks for diverse audiences across the livestock value chain- Develop tools and resources that help meat processors make continuous improvements- Champion industry-wide alignment on sustainability metrics, data integrity, and implementation pathways.
