With over seven years of experience in digital investigations, I’ve built my career on solving complex challenges, from extracting critical evidence to delivering insights that support investigations. As Digital Forensics Services Manager at SYTECH, I lead teams providing forensic services to law enforcement, government agencies, and private organisations. What drives me is turning technical problems into actionable solutions that make a tangible difference. A lifelong passion for technology led me to pursue a degree in Computer Forensics, which later evolved into an integrated Masters. My time at university deepened my fascination with digital investigations, from understanding data structures to mastering forensic processes. Since joining SYTECH, I’ve progressed through various roles, gaining hands-on experience at every level. This has given me a unique perspective on both technical work and team management, helping me drive continuous improvement in a fast-evolving field. In my current role, I oversee SYTECH’s digital forensic services, ensuring high-quality outcomes. My responsibilities include operational management, client engagement, and technical leadership. I work closely with clients to scope projects, develop service level agreements, and ensure their requirements are met with precision and efficiency. Beyond day-to-day management, I focus on innovation, introducing new tools and processes to improve service delivery. I also lead efforts to maintain and expand critical accreditations, such as ISO 17025 and the FSR Code, ensuring SYTECH remains at the forefront of the industry. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of both the technical and strategic aspects of digital investigations. My hands-on experience, from technician to manager, allows me to implement practical, effective solutions and lead teams through complex investigations. Key areas of expertise include digital investigations (mobile and computer), accreditation management, consultancy, expert witness services, and process improvement. I excel at bridging the gap between technical detail and strategic outcomes, consistently ensuring services meet and exceed expectations. Success in digital investigations demands integrity, precision, and resilience. Accuracy is crucial, but so is adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.
