MBA-educated, I am a strategic thinker with 15+ years senior management experience, strengths in project, change, and people management, and with a strong passion for solving problems and creating value.My most recent roles have been as Interim Director of Housing Management at L&Q. I was also a Board Member and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at Eldon Housing Association.Some of my other key achievements include- At the Royal Borough of Greenwich, was the Chief Officer responsible for homelessness and housing inclusion, housing management, and housing strategy and insight. Responsible for a division of c600 staff delivering services to some social rented homes and leaseholders, as well as across the wider borough- For the London Borough of Lewisham, successfully supported the transfer of the ALMO back into the Council, set up new governance frameworks within the new directorate, and provided advice and support in the areas of repairs, asset management, and building safety and compliance- Worked with a variety of stakeholders at Barking and Dagenham Reside, including the Council and its other wholly owned companies, in leading a start-up to establish systems, structures, and processes to help prepare for delivery of a new-build programme into management- Devised and implemented Moat’s channel shift strategy, moving 30% of tenants over to self-service, and drove an improvement culture in income management resulting in a £600k reduction in arrears- Led on and delivered transformation projects at CCHA which reduced housing management costs by 20% and repairs and maintenance costs by 25%, as well as increased customer satisfaction- Planned, developed and launched a new Customer Involvement Framework and Scrutiny Panel at Circle (now Clarion), tripling the number of active residents and improving satisfaction by 5%- At Origin Housing set up a group income strategy (bringing in an additional £7m), as well as planning and delivering a £30m income budget and improving annual service charge recovery by £400k.
