About Kristi Z. Eberhardt
As Head of Sustainable Finance at PNC, I lead efforts to create, structure and deliver client-focused debt products that drive alignment with infrastructure development, energy transition and impact goals. My role covers the corporate bank, commercial bank and specialty businesses as a business development partner delivering solutions-oriented financing including green and sustainability-linked bonds and loans, tax-exempt finance and tax-advantaged financing tools. With over three decades of experience in banking, I established PNC\'s Sustainable Finance practice group to look beyond general corporate purpose finance to deliver more impactful solutions. We do strategic reviews on client capex, corporate goals and industry drivers. We review federal, state and local incentives, and make recommendations that have both qualitative and quantitative benefits. My team has led initiatives such as PNC\'s Sustainable Finance Framework, PNCs green and social bond issuances, created a Green Commercial Banking Term Loan, the creation and execution of our $30 billion Environmental Pledge and the Recovery Zone Facility Bond, GO Zone, Hurricane Ike and other temporary bond programs.
