Currently serving as the Public Safety Senior Advisor for the First Responder Network Authority (FirstNet) for state, local, tribal entities in the western states and for 911/Emergency Communications Centers (ECC’s) west of the Mississippi. Retired December 2012 after 31+ years in public safety telecommunications, working in a regional, consolidated 9-1-1 dispatch center in Eugene, OR. Worked on regional coordination for public safety and government issues including radio communications, emergency management, PSAP coordination, telecommunicator training and diversity in government issues. Served 10 years on Oregon\'s Statewide Interoperability Executive Council, retiring in December as outgoing chair. Have served in multiple positions within the Oregon Chapter of APCO/NENA; currently on Oregon\'s NG9-1-1 RFP Technical Committee. Active Senior member of APCO International; currently serving on the APCO Broadband Committee. An Associate of Emergency Services International Incorporated, Wilsonville, OR. Long time advocate for special needs children and adults.
