I provide compliance guidance to farm employers, agents, and trade associations navigating the H-2A visa program while leading advocacy efforts for its reform. My work includes analyzing regulations for H-2A, H-2B, J1, TN and other visa programs, submitting detailed comments to the Departments of Labor and Homeland Security to influence regulatory outcomes.Beyond immigration policy, I advocate for agricultural trade associations to secure critical Farm Bill modifications, including the federal crop insurance program, and collaborate with the Department of Transportation to address Commercial Driver Licensing requirements. I also advise grocery retailers and e-commerce platforms on compliance with USDA nutrition programs like SNAP, assist with equal treatment waivers, and develop compliance and training materials. Additionally, I provide counsel to a fintech company specializing in EBT systems, ensuring adherence to Point of Sale and Mobile EBT standards.Notable achievements include successfully petitioning the USDA’s National Organic Program to reinstate a grower’s organic certification and securing critical inputs for farmers while maintaining organic integrity. I have guided food manufacturers on compliance with FSIS standards and helped clients obtain grant funding through Rural Development programs.An accomplished public speaker, I present policy topics to diverse audiences of all sizes, including the media, and deliver impactful speeches at dozens of events annually.
