Hi, I am Kristen Hernandez, Senior Learning Experience Designer at LSU Online & Continuing Education. With 21 years in education, I collaborate with educators to create engaging, high-quality online learning experiences that empower students. I hold a B.A. in Elementary Education (grades 1–8), an M.Ed. in Educational Technology Leadership, and am a certified instructional designer.I specialize in transforming complex content into dynamic, accessible, and impactful learning environments, leveraging instructional design, curriculum development, and strategic project management. I’m particularly passionate about experiential learning, designing courses that go beyond lectures to include simulations, case studies, interactive labs, and project-based activities. By creating opportunities for students to explore, experiment, and apply knowledge in real-world contexts, I help foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and deeper understanding.I continually grow through professional development and connecting with others who share a love for teaching, learning, and technology, always seeking new ways to make learning meaningful and memorable.
