Founded The MRP Project, Inc. as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit to provide hope through social support to individuals facing hardships. In memory of Michael R. Pedroli, The MRP Project offers the following programs-Bags for a Boost is a social support program for adults facing hardships. The MRP Project partners with individual donors, organizations, and companies to collect items. Fifteen items and an uplifting note make up the contents of the signature bags, which are delivered to recipients nominated by community members. To date, more than 250 bags have been delivered and feedback has been excellent-With the help of licensed social workers, created an educational series called Raising Resilient Kids for parents who want to ensure their child can positively and productively overcome life’s obstacles. The program’s goal is to provide parents with tools to develop and/or enhance resilience in their children. The six-week series allows parents to support each other, share lessons-learned, discuss experiences, and learn from one another in a facilitated environment.
