ABOUT KRISTEN VENNE

I\'ve been working in the event industry for the past 8 years with experience in game operations, event coordination, game day staff management, volunteer management, broadcast & livestream, and venue operations. I\'ve had the opportunity to work national championships, be a part of the growing venue operations at York University supporting CPL, MLR, PHF, and MLS NEXTPro professional teams, and launch our in-house York Lions Livestream Team. I am skilled with multiple forms of A/V equipment from BOLT, Daktroniks, and OES videoboard and score clock systems to our York Lions Stadium AMX sound system. I also have extensive knowledge with both Tricaster and Wirecast livestreaming software. I am also a skilled people person with experience managing up to 50+ part-time staff and 50+ volunteers. This includes areas of recruitment, hiring, training, and team development. I\'m a big advocate for efficiency and enjoy taking on new projects to do so; I pride myself in my organization and ability to handle competing deadlines and fast-paced work; I enjoy being part of a team and jump at the chance to support others; I\'m best known for my ability to problem-solve or offer conflict resolution under pressure.
