As a Management Liability Underwriter for the Public Company Liability Team my main responsibilities include: • Underwriting Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary, and Crime coverages • Producing and retaining a profitable book of business encompassing relationships with several brokerage firms • Ensuring that policies and accounts are effectively underwritten and documented in compliance with company and regulatory standards and requirements • Calculating key ratios and the complex financial metrics, drawing conclusions about the financial health of an organization; and making decisions regarding pricing, capacity, terms and conditions based on analyses • Understanding industry operations, critical business issues and financial drivers affecting the broader economy
