ABOUT KRISTEN KAMINSKI

My career really began with NMR and PPS, and my roles often expanded and grew with the company. Experiencing multiple role transitions and career growth and quickly adapting to change, provided the foundational knowledge and developed the analytical, strategic thinking, project management and relationship management skills I leverage today. Commerce Bank is where I’m enjoying my current adventure. I spent my first year as a Product Support Specialist creating documentation and identifying processes, communicating product changes, and taking on additional projects and responsibilities. Going into my second year, I became a Business Line Project Manager, overseeing and driving process improvement and automation for efficiency and cost savings, strategically designing projects for the Commercial Payments line of business. This work expanded into Manager of Project Management in July 2018 where I established a Project Management Office for Commercial Payments supporting 4 business lines (Commercial Card, Treasury Management, Specialty Healthcare, and Merchant Services). Projects focus on operational excellence to improve processes, build infrastructure, coordinate team member trainings, and plan our annual conference, as well as strategic initiatives to help move the business forward. In August 2020, I took on the added responsibility of Manager of Contract Management for Commercial Card. In this role, I oversee a team that works with Account Executives and Account Managers to process new and existing customer contract requests. As part of this effort, the team performs due diligence reviews, data validation processes to help with revenue recognition, and coordinates with multiple teams to move customers through the paperwork and into implementation. I have received multiple VOICE chips for recognition of my work and successfully completed Commerce\'s Leadership Development Program. I\'m currently Co-Chair of the Networking Committee for KC\'s RISE Chapter, Commerce\'s Women\'s Employee Resource Group. I also actively participate in the other ERGs for PRIDE (LGBTQIA+), VIBE (multicultural), and EMERGE (young professionals). On the personal side: I live in Liberty with my husband and our young daughter who is full of energy and has a zest for life! I am a proud stepmom to Lexi. We enjoy spending time together and cheering on our Kansas City Royals and Chiefs!
