ABOUT KRISTEN GENDRON
I\'ve spent 15 years working to disrupt how the systems that move capital-whether private funds, large corporations, or government agencies-create social outcomes (or at least socially responsible outcomes) alongside their economic goals. This conviction took me from USAID, where I helped build an innovative startup grantmaking model that was replicated across the ecosystem including via the $200M Global Innovation Fund; to Nike, where I led a corporate incubator and helped scale a circular economy startup to $2M in revenue and integrated it into a Fortune 100 company; to venture capital, where I built a new model for investing in socially-minded founders while pursuing top-tier venture returns.I spend my free time doing wildly inefficient DIY projects, hanging out at the gym or yoga studio, obsessing over good books, and enjoying quintessential Colorado activities with friends, family, and an extremely fluffy dog named after Rosie the Riveter.
