Kristen is a senior leader with over 20 years of financial expertise. Kristen currently serves as the Chief Accounting Officer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. As CAO, Ms. Ambrose oversees the controllership, tax, treasury, strategic sourcing and corporate service functions at Vertex and leads a team of over 200 professionals across the U.S. and the U.K. She provides regular updates to the Audit and Finance Committee at Vertex, including insights on financial results, policies and programs related to the Company’s financial and accounting systems, capital allocation strategies, internal controls, cybersecurity, and other key financial matters of the Company.
