ABOUT KRISTEN ADAMS
Emmy-winning Journalist turned Strategic Communications Advisor with deep expertise translating complex ideas, especially around AI, into clear, compelling narratives for boards, investors, and internal teams. A trusted partner to C-suite leaders, with a proven track record shaping high-stakes messaging that drives alignment, trust, and action. Skilled in storytelling for multimillion-dollar deals, brand strategy, and executive positioning across business, technology, and ESG sectors. Named a 2024 Top Industry Innovator by Consulting Magazine for work at the intersection of AI and communications. Strategy is how you influence what you can’t control. Story finding (deep listening) is the key to story telling, the foundation of that influence. I\'m known for thoughtful conversations, insight, executive presence, and the ability to thrive in complex environments. At Cognizant, I led Moment\'s sales accelerator team, helping clients discover the power of intelligently, elegantly orchestrated experiences. We specialize in client communication through design and human-forward storytelling. Prior to Moment, I led Cognizant Consulting Growth & Strategy for Global Large Deals ($100m+) team, generating breakthrough moments to expand our larger accounts into more strategic paths. Using empathy and curiosity to shift perspective, understand context, think about what’s happening, why it’s happening and what it means for the future. I am an Emmy award-winning producer, expert interviewer and writer. My TV experience spans network, local, cable, morning, and primetime television. Won an Emmy in 2001 for Best Interview (with New York City Fire Chief Daniel Nigro), the prestigious Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University journalism award for contributions to ABC’s coverage of 9/11, and GLAAD’s Outstanding Television Journalism award for “Rosie’s Story,” a two hour special on gay adoption. Awarded a 2014 Silver Telly Award for the MSAA’s “Swim for MS” campaign, a 2003 Cine Golden Eagle for Excellence in Film and Video Production for “Rosie’s Story” and a 1995 Los Angeles area Emmy Award for contributions to “OJ Simpson: The Trial.” Decisive under pressure with good editorial judgment, able to prioritize, communicate, coach and mentor. I produced Diane Sawyer at PrimeTime Live and Good Morning America, Charlie Gibson and Robin Roberts at GMA, wrote for Tom Brokaw and Brian Williams at NBC’s Nightly News and was part of the start up team at CNBC.
