Kristen provides strategic leadership to the President & CEO and Executive Team at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where she leads the full people portfolio—including Human Resources, Occupational Health and Central Staffing and Scheduling for all clinical programs. Kristen’s broad and integrated leadership portfolio includes operational and strategic oversight of: Human Resources, Organizational Development & Leadership, Occupational Health, Infection Prevention & Control, Ethics, and Privacy The Schulich Heart Program, St. John’s Rehabilitation, and the Nursing Resource Team Strategic Communications and Workforce Optimization, including digital transformation in scheduling Environmental Services, Groundskeeping, and Parking Operations Kristen also provides leadership to initiatives that advance social responsibility and equity, including oversight of Employee Resource Groups and the Green Team, as part of Sunnybrook’s broader social accountability agenda. A seasoned HR executive, Kristen brings deep expertise in executive coaching, labour relations, conflict resolution, executive search, and organizational consulting. She holds a Master of Arts in Integrated Studies (Leadership & Education) from Athabasca University, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communications, and a post-graduate diploma in Human Resources Management.
