Advise a portfolio of 60 current students, providing personalized and collective leadership development support as they narrow their areas of academic and professional focus.• Established our program’s participation in the Learning, Equity, and Pedagogy (LEAP) Initiative beginning in the fall of 2023, engaging with colleagues from across units with the goal of deepening the program’s commitment to inclusive pedagogical practices. • Designed a set of pre- and post-matriculation programs and a virtual hub to aid students with centralized curricular planning and resource information, increasing student engagement and feelings of belonging.• Lead an admissions committee consisting of several faculty members, which includes application review, operations and training coordination, scholarship budget management, and prospective and admitted student communication.• Collaborate with three Student Assistants for Social Justice to identify interventions that maximize inclusiveness in our community.• Spearheaded a program values statement and open spaces for engaging in difficult discussions as a community, which systematized our attempts to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in the foundation of the program.• Oversaw the program’s successful attempt at attaining STEM certification, which resulted in a competitive advantage in recruiting international students to the program.• Serve on academic affairs and admissions working groups with counterparts across the school, which involves sharing best practices and presenting a unified voice to school administration in advocating for our students.
