ABOUT KRISTEN MURPHY

I’m a dedicated student at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), majoring in Pre-Medical health Sciences where I’m pursuing my degree with an expected graduation in 2025. Originally from Rhode Island, I’ve always been passionate about making a positive impact on my community and helping others through healthcare and service.Through my experiences with a range of volunteer roles, I’ve cultivated a deep commitment to community outreach and patient care. I’ve worked with Dignity Matters, a non-profit organization, to coordinate drives providing essential hygiene products for women in need, supporting both immediate and long-term care. Additionally, I have gained hands-on experience as a volunteer in the Charlton Memorial Hospital PRU, where I supported healthcare staff and learned about the inner workings of patient care in a hospital setting.My work with young children, ranging from infants to preschoolers, at a local daycare has further developed my interpersonal skills, patience, and ability to communicate with diverse populations. Whether interacting with children or working alongside healthcare professionals, I am passionate about creating positive, compassionate environments that foster well-being.Looking forward, I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge and experience in the healthcare field while advocating for access to quality care and support for all communities. I am excited to collaborate with like-minded professionals and make a lasting impact in healthcare.
