A career in television news as an interviewer, anchor, and host, turned a once painfully shy kid into an expert communicator. Now I am using those skills to raise awareness for, uplift, and raise money to support one of Charlotte\'s largest not-for-profit arts organizations.I am a hard-working, collaborative, accurate, level-headed, quick learner who values people and knows how to tell a story with heart and personality. I work under the intense pressure of multiple deadlines each day, effortlessly.Gathering facts quickly, digesting them, and sharing them in a meaningful way with any audience in a timely manner on multiple platforms is second nature. Authentically gaining trust and encouraging people to share their stories is a skill I have perfected throughout my career.As a manager, I set the bar high for my team while leading with empathy. Creating a culture where there is freedom to try new things is essential in a workplace where people and their ideas feel valued.
