ABOUT KRISTEN KELLY

I work at the intersection of business strategy, data, and social impact, focused on creating real pathways to economic mobility for people who are too often excluded from opportunity. At Gap Inc, I’m part of the Opportunity & Social Impact team, where my work centers on workforce access, job quality, and career mobility. I partner closely with HR, operations, and external organizations to design, measure, and scale initiatives that support talent in our communities and across our workforce. That includes programs focused on youth workforce readiness and English language learners.I bring a strong data lens to social impact work. I care deeply about outcomes, not just activities. I spend a lot of time translating complex data into insights leaders can act on, while keeping the lived experiences of workers front and center. My goal is always to connect business performance with human impact, and to help organizations see that the two are inseparable. Before moving into corporate social impact, I worked in international development, which shaped how I think about power, partnership, and listening first. I hold an MBA and a background in anthropology, a combination that continues to influence how I approach strategy, stakeholder engagement, and change management.I’m motivated by work that is practical, values-driven, and built to last. I’m especially interested in how large employers can use their scale to create more equitable systems, strengthen local communities, and support long-term economic mobility.
