Evaluates and coordinates the course schedule each term, processing departmental requests in the Banner system. Schedules classroom space for approx. 900 courses and approx special events per year. Responsible for the coordination, management, and processing of requests for all classrooms assigned to faculty (300+ spaces in multiple buildings located throughout campus).Trains departmental support personnel in classroom scheduling procedures for course sections. Serves as liaison for Registrar’s Office to communicate with Public Safety, Physical Plant, and IT Helpdesk regarding classroom issues.Participates in meetings involving classroom related activities. Responsible for running and analyzing reports on classroom utilization generated via software. Works with the VP for Facilities Planning regarding changes to the inventory and development of new classroom spaces and allocations.Utilizes scheduling software, Schedule 25 and Resource 25, to maintain accurate inventory of all space on campus, including the Web-Viewer for classrooms.Reviews and process max enrollment overload requests and serves as back-up for registration trouble shooting. Approves and processes College of Charleston and visiting student cross registration with Trident Technical College, Charleston Southern University, The Citadel, and Clemson University.Manages Graduate Assistant responsible for processing individual enrollments per semester and approx. special event requests per year.Analyzes and corrects CHE Reports while completing course and classroom data analysis. Maintains social media sites for the Office of the Registrar to include Facebook and Twitter.
