The National Pork Board (NPB) is a U.S. organization working on behalf of American pig farmers through research, education, and promotion. I lead the translation of nutrition science into actionable insights for key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, researchers, policymakers, and consumers.My role focuses on advancing the understanding of pork’s role in a balanced diet by: Overseeing and guiding nutrition research to inform nutrition science and dietary recommendations Communicating evidence-based insights to health professionals and industry leaders Collaborating with experts to bridge the gap between nutrition science and consumer behavior Developing strategies to educate stakeholders on the nutritional benefits of pork in various dietary patterns Creating and leading the organization\'s nutrition strategy while overseeing a multimillion-dollar budget

My work spans academia, corporate wellness, and industry research, all focusing on improving human health through informed, evidence-based nutrition strategies.With a Ph.D. in Nutrition and years of experience in research, teaching, and leadership, I specialize in translating complex nutrition science into real-world solutions.
