About Kristen Fishman
I am a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts and a Senior Manager in the ESG Audit Center of Excellence. At KPMG, I work as part of a team developing new methodologies and resources to enable KPMG audit and advisory professionals to deliver ESG solutions to a diverse group of clients. I have performed ESG assurance and advisory engagements, have served as an ESG technical resource for engagement teams, and have facilitated internal and external events and trainings related to ESG topics, including serving as a guest lecturer at universities. In my role at FTI Consulting, I provided advisory services regarding matters such as lease accounting, revenue recognition, share-based compensation, earnings per share, pro forma financial statements, S-1 initial registration statement preparation, and IPO readiness. I have experience in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. As a senior associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers I led several teams to complete financial statement audits with a focus on life sciences client service. I also have experience in financial statement restatements and new accounting standard implementation.In previous roles, I created an improvement plan for the municipal Waste and Recycling Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and a social media plan for the Hartford Steam Boiler Insurance Company. I also helped create a business plan for an international training project implemented by the Charles River Watershed Association. As a student at Boston College, I was a President for Real Food, a group that manages the campus organic garden and implements sustainable campus dining programs. In my senior year at Boston College, I was a Teaching Assistant for a Business Ethics course. I studied in Madrid, Spain in 2013 at Comillas Pontifical University, and I have professional proficiency in Spanish.
