1. Coordinator, Gifted & Talented, Early Intervention Program (Eip)

   Continuous quality improvement is evident in work with endorsement programs. As an Educator Preparation Provider (EPP), our district’s gifted endorsement program was under monitor status with the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC). Annual expenses were reduced by over as we moved from an external platform to the district’s learning management system and featured resources provided by Educational Media and Instructional Technology. Data showed a steady decline in program completion to a low of 61% in 2018-19; the revised program had an 86% completion rate for two consecutive years. Standard operating procedures (SOPs) were developed, and the program is in good standing with the GaPSC. Develop, facilitate, and scale the reading endorsement program. We continue to explore areas for growth. Fifty-one teachers in one region completed the program compared with four teachers in another region, creating an opportunity to inform administrators of the benefits of the endorsement program such as increased funding and student achievement.
