Design and meet annual and long-term fundraising goals•Create internal and external processes that support a culture of sustained major fundraising•Develop a portfolio of major donors/prospects and manage the fundraising strategy for these donors with primary responsibility for cultivation, solicitation and stewardship•Effective ongoing in-person and written communication with donors•Support the CEO and board members to effectively engage in individual donor cultivation and solicitation activities•Manage and track development activities through the use of Donor Perfect producing regular progress reports to the leadership team and Board•Work collaboratively to create customized solicitation strategies that match the objectives of the organization and interests of donor prospects•Execute funding plans for multi-year growth via foundation, corporate, and individual requests•Building relationships with external partners, including volunteers, to utilize them in cultivating, soliciting and stewarding donors•Writing and soliciting grant proposals and funding requests to corporate, foundation and individual donors•Serves as a representative of the Town of Palm Beach United Way by displaying courtesy, tact, consideration and discretion in all interactions with other members of the United Way community and with the public•Safeguards all confidential information used in the performance of duties
