How do you make it easier to be in the business of Oncology? This is the question I start my day with every morning.As a Director of Oncology Account Management at McKesson, making the business of Oncology easier to be in ultimately means finding practices more time to treat patients. A key component of my job is coaching, optimizing and supporting my team of direct reports to be consultative business partners. We focus on ensuring that our practices understand the complex specialty market and the operational efficiencies they need to be successful.My role allows me to collaborate cross-departmentally to improve internal processes, weigh-in on our market strategy and be the voice of the customer as we build new, best-in-class solutions. As a leader, I believe in building a collaborative and supportive culture, where each individual’s strengths are utilized to make the team stronger. As a hiring manager, I look for tenacity, resilience, strong consultative sales skills and a passion for problem solving.I am highly competitive against myself, and driving a strong financial performance is a must for me.
