About Kristen Bejarano
Construction professional with extensive experience in Contracting, Preconstruction Services, and Project Execution for vertical building construction. Subject matter expert in mission critical data-center construction. In my current role, I am leading the expansion of Swinerton\'s presence in the Data Center market by partnering closely with Swinerton Energy and Swinerton Builders to provide both EPC and commercial building solutions for our clients. I focus on building strong, trusted client relationships by understanding their needs and aligning our integrated services such as general contracting, equipment procurement, mass timber and self-perform solutions to support their success. Through collaboration and a commitment to execution excellence, I ensure that our teams execute with clarity and consistency, positioning Swinerton as a high-performance partner in the mission critical space. While at Skanska, I led a team of builders dedicated to advancing AI‑driven digital infrastructure, overseeing the planning and execution of highly technical, fast‑paced mission‑critical projects. Notably, I supported the PHX mission‑critical team through a period of significant organizational restructuring, stabilizing operations while maintaining delivery momentum. Throughout this transition, I worked to align the national mission‑critical market sector across multiple Skanska offices, strengthening consistency, communication, and shared best practices. Previously, at Microsoft, I supported the Commercial Cloud Datacenter Construction Program, where my team and I built contracting and cost strategies to secure the construction and professional services needed to deliver multiple gigawatts of capacity. My responsibilities spanned planning, sourcing, scalability, procurement, and portfolio growth for Microsoft’s global CO+I data center program, alongside leadership of strategic initiatives and execution planning. I have thoroughly enjoyed these opportunities to expand digital infrastructure at scale and look forward to collaborating with like minded teams to deliver even more critical capacity. Outside of my work-life, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends - traveling, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, and playing pickleball.
