Manage all functions/responsibilities for career services program development, implementation, evaluation, and modification. Provide leadership in the planning, implementation, assessment, and improvement of career services programs and services. Serve as a liaison between Career Services and campus units; build relationships with appropriate faculty and the entire campus community. Develop and maintain relationships with employers; increasing college interrelationships with the business and industrial community. Conduct job development activities for career employment opportunities, both experiential education and permanent positions. Counsel and advise students and alumni seeking career assessment, career decision-making assistance, cooperative education or internship employment and career employment opportunities. Using an educational approach, apply student development and career development theory, through individual advising sessions, group appointments, workshops, seminars, and classroom presentations. Deliver self-assessment instruments such as, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, FOCUS, etc. Maintain credibility and integrity of employment statistics, ensuring that the office meets acceptable employment goals for respective college divisions. Promote student success by implementing strategies to maximize student recruitment/retention. Develop strategic plan and annual departmental budget planning, preparation, and administration. Compile statistical/evaluative data, providing monthly activity reports as needed. Plan and implement career-related activities/programs on campus. Served on Career Day Advisory Committee, DATE Diversity Committee, Scholarship Review Committee, and Tee Off for Scholarships Committee.
