Provide and manage strategic corporate human resource initiatives to a variety of management levels. Recommend and implement employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale, motivation, and engagement. Strategically partner with management on highly sensitive and complex employee relations matters and policies including employee investigations, employee counseling, discipline, and terminations. Keeps current on legal environment and labor law updates and educates company management and employees as appropriate. Manage leadership assessment, identify key employee strengths and development needs to recognize, select, retain, and develop key talent to build a succession strategy that aligns with the business. Provides strategic and consultative talent initiatives to leadership while managing the overall delivery of talent resource options. Collaborates with business leaders and talent management on workflow, administrative activities, and logistics necessary to deliver successful development programs and activities. Helps to develop and retain critical talent with a reputation as a trusted advisor to leadership. Works closely with the Talent Management to develop, drive our diversity and inclusion initiatives for the organization including diversity hiring and career growth strategies and execution. Manage the L.B. Foster Drug Free Workplace Program and lead the HR team and leadership to ensure compliance efforts with DOT, FRA, PHMSA, FMCSA drug testing and customer site specific requirements. Supports organizational change (restructuring, mergers, acquisitions, and divestments), providing appropriate solutions the business from an HR perspective.
