About Krista Thompson
I am deeply engaged in my current role at Grin and value the opportunity to work alongside an exceptional team. Looking ahead, I am intentionally preparing for a career transition into the field of psychedelic science and medicine.I have been profoundly inspired by Rick Doblin and the MAPS organization for their leadership in advancing compassionate, evidence-based treatments for veterans suffering from PTSD and related conditions. This mission is especially meaningful to me, as several of my siblings, relatives, and close friends have served and continue to cope with the lasting effects of their service.Currently, I am studying at Purdue University, pursuing a degree in General Psychology with a focus on research. My academic interests center on understanding how compounds such as MDMA and psilocybin interact with addiction, trauma, and underlying biological systems, examined through both neurobiological frameworks and phenomenological experience.As the field continues to evolve, I am eager to contribute by combining my business acumen, personal perspective, and genuine passion for advancing the future of mental health treatment.
