I am the Sales Manager for the beautiful Inn at Laurel Point that is located in downtown Victoria. We are BC\'s 1st and only Carbon Neutral Hotel and all our rooms offer private balconies and stunning views of the harbour.My Territory is Eastern Canada as well as Association and Government in BC.My role includes selling and contracting business to maximize Hotel RevenueSecuring new clients for the Inn through extensive research with the aim of cultivating relationships with potential clients, participating in familiarization tours, conducting sales trips, securing hotels leads and networking. Representing the Hotel at trade shows, conventions & industry events.Performing Sales presentationsAssists the Director of Sales and Marketing in strategic planning to generate businessCommunicates ongoing sales targets and objectives with the Director of SalesSecures all room blocks and meeting space requirements of the clients as per contractual specifications.Maintains up to date sales records and reportsGenerate proposals and contracts for securing businessAssists in the annual budget and forecasting planning processKnowledge of sales principles and methods
