About Krista Orejudos
Hi, Hello, Mahubay!At heart, I\'m an oral storyteller first, a writer second, and a creative third. I have always prioritized the importance of being able to communicate and have meaningful conversations with people in both my life and in my work. I have been able to tell my story and uplift the stories of members from underrepresented communities in Seattle, Washington whether it be through podcasting, writing, and digital marketing. Though I have various work experiences ranging from being in higher education, in editorial and publishing, and in content creating, I have always been passionate about the people and the communities behind the work I do. My need to form a conversational connection with BIPOC artists and community leaders is clearly shown in the interviews and podcast episodes I have done with Ground Zero Radio. So when I create for my podcast or for the people I work with, I enjoy challenges that involve finding new ways to compose written narrative and digital storytelling in the vast landscape of social media.
