ABOUT KRISTA COURCHENE

I am currently a part-time student in the Business Administration program at Red River College Polytech, with a focus on obtaining a Diploma in Accounting - completion pending April 2026. I earned my certification in Applied Accounting from RRC Polytech in August 2024, and I\'m excited to continue building my expertise in the field. My journey into accounting began as a Bookkeeper Assistant, which sparked my interest in Bookkeeping and Computerized Accounting. Although I initially pursued a course in Office Administration, my passion for accounting led me to return to school to deepen my knowledge and skillset. I thrive on challenges and take great satisfaction in overcoming obstacles to achieve success. In addition to my academic pursuits, I currently work part-time in the retail industry while leveraging my extensive experience in management. I’ve led teams of 35-40 people, fostering strong communication, coaching in the moment, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures. This experience has honed my leadership and problem-solving abilities, which I apply in every aspect of my work. I am a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills. I value open communication, adaptability, and collaboration, always striving to maintain a positive and productive environment. I am eager to learn, grow, and connect with others, both to advance my career and contribute to the success of any team I am a part of. Looking forward to connecting and growing my network!
